B.S. Level Scientists

We need a B.S. to deal with our B.S.!

Shamrock Structures LLC, a privately-owned provider of biochemistry and biotechnology outsourcing expertise to the pharmaceutical industry, is expanding.

We are looking for a motivated, hard-working B.S (or equivalent experience) level scientists trained in biochemistry or biophysics to help us take our business to the next level.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in protein biochemistry (especially protein purification)
• Molecular biology (as related to protein expression), or any related discipline.
• Experience with X-ray crystallography (especially protein crystal growth) is a plus.
• The ideal candidate will have training in one or more of these disciplines, a passion for science, an innovative spirit and a desire to learn and become an independent researcher.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.

A significant part of the job will involve synchrotron X-ray data collection at the Advanced Photon Source on the campus of Argonne National Laboratory (Argonne, IL) or at equivalent facilities throughout the world, so a willingness to work flexible hours is a must.
